Ann Sage’s art reflects her years of living on the Eastern End of Long Island, sculpting and painting birds, farm animals and fish, amongst other animals. Each piece of Ms. Sage’s art is a true original creation. Using traditional papier-mâché techniques and a free form design, no two pieces are alike. No reproductions or limited printings are done, thus, keeping with the spirit that each piece has a personality of its own.
Ms. Sage’s work has been commissioned for window displays, restaurant motifs and private collectors. She has exhibited at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City, the J.D. Smith Gallery in Greenport, NY, the Galvin Gallery in Dutchess County, NY, the Maplebrook School Juried Art Show (7 years), Dutchess County, NY, the Hammersmith Farm Museum, Newport, RI, Ducktrap Bay Trading Co., Camden, ME, and Chicken Museum, Dutchess County, NY.
